Li Manor Museum of Ecology | A Cascading Poem of Green Sunlight, air, water, and soil — the origin of architecture and landscape The Li Manor Museum of Ecology was not born of architecture first and greenery later; instead, architecture and landscape were conceived as one. It is designed not only for people, but also for plants, microclimates, and the land itself. Here, every tree is a universe. From soil to canopy, energy flows and nutrients circulate, forming a complete, dynamic ecosystem. The angle of sunlight determines the distribution of plants; air stirred by streams becomes the regulator of climate; rainwater, guided by gentle slopes, layered terrain, and ponds, transforms into nutrients and living landscapes. Taiwan’s eleven unique soil types further allow plants to flourish in a multitude of expressions
